Size 14 Boots for Men: Where to Buy in the UK

Quick answer: for men’s UK size 14 boots, Walktall had the widest choice we found, with Chelsea, chukka, desert, dealer and lace-up boots. Elsewhere it is thin: DB Wider Fit Shoes lists its Douglas, Ronnie and Solomon boots in very wide fittings, Skechers only the Relment – Daggett, Sports Direct only the Firetrap Rhino, and Jacamo and JD Williams only the Hush Puppies Ricky, plus Timberland in 14.5. Poyter makes leather boots to order. Dr. Martens and Barker list 14 but were sold out when we checked.

Fourteen is where boots stop being something you can pick up anywhere. Loake’s and Charles Clinkard’s boot filters end at 13, and the two big names that do list a 14, Dr. Martens and Barker, had nothing available in it when we checked. What is left is one specialist with a real range, a wide-fit shop, a made-to-order brand and very little else. Timberland adds a twist: because it sizes from US charts, the shops list it as 13.5 and 14.5 rather than 14.

We checked each shop’s own website on 30 October 2026: boot listings, size filters, the shops’ own product data where published, size guides, and delivery and returns pages. Walktall’s listings were read directly; its returns terms come from its own pages as shown in search results. Timberland’s site showed a human check, so its sizes here come from the shops that list it and its size chart as shown in search results. We did not check prices or live stock. We did not check Amazon UK’s listings.

The shops in more detail

Listed at 14 but sold out when we checked

Two brands show a 14 in their filters but had nothing available in it on 30 October. Dr. Martens lists 14 only on its 1460 Smooth Leather Lace Up Boot, and the black and cherry red versions both showed 14 as Notify me. Barker lists 14 in the size options of most of its boots, but its product data showed none available in 14. They are worth checking again, but do not plan around them.

Watch the filters at Jacamo, JD Williams and Sports Direct too. Apart from the Hush Puppies Ricky, Jacamo’s and JD Williams’ size 14 boots were a Cotswold walking boot, safety boots and a Muck Boots yard boot, and Sports Direct’s were mostly yard boots and wellingtons, when we checked. How to measure your feet for size 14 boots

Jacamo, JD Williams and Clarks all give 314 mm for a UK 14. Meindl’s chart gives 320 mm. Poyter’s chart gives 305 mm, but it runs about one size behind most UK charts, so compare with Poyter’s own figures if you order from Poyter.

1. Stand on paper against a wall, heel touching the wall, in the socks you plan to wear with your boots.
2. Mark where your longest toe ends, with the pen held straight up.
3. Measure the distance in millimetres for both feet, and go by the longer foot.
4. Read the chart of the shop you are ordering from, because the figures above are 15 mm apart for the same UK 14.

Width fittings at size 14

DB Wider Fit Shoes is the place for very wide feet at 14, with 2E to 4E and 6E to 8E fittings. Poyter makes its boots in regular or wide; its size chart gives a ball girth of 277 mm for its standard (D) fitting and 286 mm for wide (EE) at 14. Jacamo’s boots at 14 were standard fit only, and Skechers’ Relment – Daggett was medium only. Walktall lists its Jomos Adventure walking boot in K/L extra extra wide at 14; we did not record the fittings of its other boots at 14. To measure girth, wrap a soft tape round the widest part of your foot, across the joints at the base of your toes.

All four shop charts put a UK 14 at US 15, but the EU number runs from 48 to 49.5. Timberland’s figures are from its UK size chart as shown in search results: its 14.5 is labelled US 15, the US size the other charts give a UK 14, so check Timberland’s chart before choosing between its 13.5 and 14.5.

DB Wider Fit Shoes lists a few wide-fit boots in 14, Poyter makes boots to order, and Skechers, Sports Direct, Jacamo and JD Williams had very little: just the Relment - Daggett, the Firetrap Rhino and the Hush Puppies Ricky. We did not check Amazon UK.

Why are Timberland boots in 13.5 and 14.5 instead of 14?

Timberland uses US-based sizing, so Walktall, Jacamo and JD Williams list its boots in UK 13.5 and 14.5. Its UK size chart, as shown in search results, labels 13.5 as US 14 and EU 49, and 14.5 as US 15 and EU 50.

Does Dr. Martens have boots in size 14?

Its filter lists 14 on the 1460 Smooth Leather Lace Up Boot only, and when we checked, both the black and cherry red versions showed 14 as sold out, so we found no Dr. Martens boot available above 13.

Can I get very wide boots in size 14?

Yes, from DB Wider Fit Shoes, which lists its Douglas, Ronnie and Solomon boots in 2E to 4E and 6E to 8E at 14. Poyter makes boots in a wide fitting to order. Jacamo's and Skechers' size 14 boots were standard or medium only.
