Amblers Safety and Toolstation both listed far more styles in 13 than in 14, so if you take a 13 you can still choose by brand, toe cap and boot type. Some work brands go no further: Dr. Martens’ UK work range stops at 13 and has no safety-toe styles, Buckler’s own shop stops at 13, and CAT’s own UK shop lists no safety boots at all.

A size filter link we tried on its site did not work, so check the size list on each product. None of its safety styles has a 13.5 or larger half size. Almost every style is standard fit; the AS803 Broad is its wide-fit safety boot. Delivery is £3.99 below £75. Returns are accepted within 30 days if unworn, with tags and the original box, but you pay the postage unless an item is faulty or sent in error, and there are no exchanges, so you return and reorder.

Walktall's workwear listing has safety footwear from UK 12 to 16 in whole sizes, all in its standard (F) fit. At 13 it showed V12 safety boots (Bison IGS, Avenger IGS, Octane IGS and Boulder), the V12 Boost IGS safety shoe, the Grafters Contractor safety shoe and Grafters Grinder dealer-style safety boots in two colours; the same listing also shows wellingtons. Brands that stop at 13
Three names you might look for first are not much help in 13 or above. Dr. Martens’ UK work category has slip-resistant and Wintergrip styles in sizes 3 to 13, but none with a safety toe. Buckler, which now trades as Buckbootz, lists its boots up to 13 (EU 47) and no higher. CAT’s own UK shop lists no safety-toe footwear, although CAT’s Powerplant safety boot was in Toolstation’s size 13 filter. How to measure your feet for size 13 safety boots
We could not get a foot length from the two safety boot size guides we tried: Rock Fall’s chart is an image we could not read, and Amblers Safety’s size guide link returned an error. Our size 13 shoes guide lists the foot lengths and EU sizes that shoe shops give for a UK 13. Safety boot shops list UK sizes; Buckler’s shop labels its 13 as EU 47.
