Size 13 Boots for Women: Where to Buy in the UK

Quick answer: at UK 13 we found only two real sources. Long Tall Sally has a few boots of its own: the Black Leather Ankle Boots, Brown Kitten Heel Chelsea Boots and Brown Kitten Heel Knee High Boots, all Standard Fit and running low. Yours Clothing and Evans list the same boots, and Next lists one Long Tall Sally riding boot. The rest is unisex Dr. Martens, on its own site and at ASOS. We found no wide fit at 13.

Thirteen is the end of the line for women’s boots in the UK, as far as we could find. Six shops list something, but only one has a women’s range, and that range is a few styles, each showing 13 as running low when we read its size grid. There is an odd upside: the Black Leather Ankle Boots were sold out at 12 and still available at 13, so it is worth looking even when the size below has gone. Beyond Long Tall Sally, the only boots are Dr. Martens, which are unisex here. There is no 14 to fall back on either: the 1460 lists 14 and 15, but both showed Notify me.

Only Long Tall Sally’s boots at this size are a women’s range, and Yours, Evans and Next are showing that range rather than one of their own. Everything else is Dr. Martens, and Dr. Martens’ women’s sizes stop at 9, so those boots are unisex even when they sit under a women’s heading. ASOS’s list makes the point: it appears under women’s boots, but its items are titled unisex, with one fur-lined Jadon the exception.

How to measure your feet for size 13 boots

Long Tall Sally’s chart gives 304 mm for a women’s UK 13, against 296 mm for a 12, and Dr. Martens gives 32 cm. Very few charts we read reach this size for women: Yours’ stops at 10, and Marks and Spencer’s and Clarks’ at 9.

1. Stand on paper with your heel against a wall, in the socks you will wear with the boots.
2. Mark the tip of your longest toe.
3. Measure to the mark in millimetres on both feet, and compare the longer one with Long Tall Sally’s 304 mm.

Width at size 13

We found no wide fit at 13. Long Tall Sally’s boots here are Standard Fit, and the E and EEE boots in the shared catalogue stop at 10. Dr. Martens has no width options, gives a foot width of 10.6 cm for a UK 13, and says its unisex styles are wider than women’s.
