Large Football Boots for Women: UK Size 8 to 13

Quick answer: at UK 8 seven shops count, with boots titled for women from adidas and Puma. At 9 Puma is not confirmed: the two women’s boots we opened stop at 8. From 10 to 12 the women’s-labelled boots we can name are adidas F50 Sparkfusion styles at Pro:Direct and Lovell Soccer, and at Sports Direct to 11. Nike’s Mercurial and Phantom boots are shown under Nike’s women’s filter to 12, with no gender label on the card, and Mizuno’s Monarcida Neo III Select is labelled Unisex to 12. At 13 we found one boot, Nike’s soft-ground Tiempo Maestro Elite, and no women’s-labelled boot.

Football boots go further on women’s pages than you might expect. Pro:Direct’s women’s filter runs to 12 and Lovell Soccer’s to 12.5, and both hold boots with women in the title at 12. The catch is brand. Puma’s women’s boots stop at 8 on what we opened, and at 12 everything in Pro:Direct’s women’s filter was adidas when we checked. The other route is boots with no women’s label at all: Nike’s sit on a page titled Women’s Football Boots & Shoes with no gender label on the card, and Mizuno’s say Unisex. This guide sets out which is which at every size. We count studded football boots only, so turf and indoor shoes are not here, and an item labelled men’s never counts.
We checked each shop’s own website on 31 October 2026: women’s football filters at Pro:Direct, Lovell Soccer, Nike, Mizuno and Puma, and product pages where we could. Sports Direct’s women’s page mixes in men’s and adult boots, so there we read product pages, not the filter. adidas refused our read, so its rows are as shown in search results. Decathlon’s listing was read, but the shop refused a product page, so nothing was opened and it does not count. Next and Very were not read for football boots. Delivery and returns terms were read on 30 or 31 October, and Nike’s chart and adidas’s guide on 30 October. We did not check prices, and availability changes daily.

The largest size is the biggest boot size we could confirm at each shop, on a women’s page. Sold-out sizes do not count. Label shows what the shop’s title or card says. adidas’s row is as shown in search results, and Pro:Direct’s sizes have no UK label on the page, so we read them as UK. “Not checked” means we did not record that detail. Delivery and returns are the standard UK terms read on 30 or 31 October 2026.
The shops in more detail
Pro:Direct
Pro:Direct's women's football boots filter runs from 3 to 12 with halves, and nothing at 13. Across the filter the brands are adidas, New Balance, Puma and Under Armour, and at 12 every item was adidas when we checked. The adidas F50 Sparkfusion League, for firm ground and artificial grass, is titled Womens Boots. Sizes are plain numbers with no UK label, and we read them as UK because the shop is UK. Returns within 28 days of delivery are for a refund only, with no exchanges, and you pay the postage at discounted carrier rates. Its delivery price is not confirmed.

Lovell Soccer
Lovell Soccer's site is Lovell Sports. Its women's filter runs from 3 to 12.5, with one product at 12.5, and its brands are adidas, Puma and Under Armour. Sizes show as UK with EU in brackets on product pages. The adidas Womens F50 Sparkfusion League runs to 11, and at 12 it is sold out, while the Pro can be ordered. Standard delivery is £4.99. Returns within 28 days must be unworn in the original box, and cost from £4.99 through ZigZag.

Nike
Nike's women's football page shows Mercurial, Phantom and Tiempo boots with no gender label on the card, to 13. We describe them as shown under Nike's women's filter. Most stop at 12, and at 13 there is one soft-ground Tiempo Maestro Elite. Delivery is £4.50, free over £99 (£50 for members), with free store pick-up. Returns are free within 30 days, though some exclusions apply.

Mizuno
Mizuno's women's football page lists unisex boots: every adult boot we read is labelled Unisex and the rest Junior, and we read no women's-labelled boot. Its size filter runs from 1 to 12 with no 11.5. The Monarcida Neo III Select in white could be picked from 6 to 12 on the UK tab, with half sizes to 10.5. Its page header offers free shipping over £80 and 14-day returns. We did not read the charge below £80, and the return cost is not confirmed.

- Returns

Sports Direct
Sports Direct's women's football page mixes in men's and adult boots, so we read product pages rather than its filter. The adidas F50 Sparkfusion League Womens firm-ground boot in Purple/Lemon lists 8 to 11, with half sizes to 10.5, none greyed out. Sold-out sizes appear to be left off. A second page that lists a 12 is unclear, so we do not count it. Standard delivery is £4.99. Returns within 28 days cost from £4.99, and online orders cannot go back to a store.

adidas
adidas refused our read, so this rests on search results. They show the F50 Sparkfusion League Low Firm Ground Football Boots Womens with variants from UK 3 to at least 9, and we could not see what is available. The same boot goes further at other shops. Delivery is £3.99, free for adiClub members and over £40. Returns are free within 30 days, or 14 days for hype products.

Puma
Puma's women's size filter runs from 3 to 9, but 9 did not narrow the list, and the two Women boots we opened, the FUTURE 9 PLAY and ULTRA 7 PLAY for firm ground and artificial grass, both stop at 8. Puma's unisex versions were not on its women's page, so they do not count. Delivery is £3.99, free over £50. Returns are free within 30 days with the sticker in the parcel, and Puma does not do exchanges.

Decathlon is not in the table. Its women’s filter shows entries at UK 8 to 12, but the shop refused a product page, so we never saw what sits behind them. Its own Kipsta Viralto boots are titled Women’s or Men’s/Women’s, and the Puma and adidas items there come from outside sellers. Its UK 13 entries are children’s sizes.
Shop by size
Each size guide compares the shops with football boots in that size on a women’s page, with the label, half sizes, and EU and US sizes from the brands’ own charts.
- Size 8: 7 shops, the widest choice, and the top size for the Puma women’s boots we opened.
- Size 9: 6 shops, with the adidas F50 Sparkfusion League the women’s-labelled boot we can name.
- Size 10: 5 shops, with the same boot at Pro:Direct, Lovell Soccer and Sports Direct.
- Size 11: 5 shops, with the F50 Sparkfusion Pro also named at Lovell Soccer and the Tiempo Maestro Elite at Nike.
- Size 12: 4 shops, with Pro:Direct all adidas and Sports Direct not confirmed.
- Size 13: 1 shop: Nike’s soft-ground Tiempo Maestro Elite, with no gender label on the card.
Buying big football boots: what we learned
Three kinds of label
Boots titled for women are the adidas F50 Sparkfusion and Puma’s FUTURE 9 PLAY and ULTRA 7 PLAY, and Pro:Direct’s page says the F50 Sparkfusion is designed especially for female players. Nike’s boots are shown under its women’s filter with no gender label on the card. Mizuno labels its adult boots Unisex. We tell you which each boot is on every size page.
adidas at the top of the range
From 11 upward the women’s-titled names we can give you are all adidas. Lovell Soccer has the League and Pro at 11, with the Pro marked Low stock. At 12 Pro:Direct has League, Pro and Elite levels, while Lovell’s League is sold out and its Pro can be ordered. Lovell’s filter at 12 also holds untitled adidas and Puma items, and an adidas Womens F50 Elite Mid Cut that we did not open.
What we left out
- Turf and indoor shoes: these are not football boots, so they do not count at any size.
- Nike’s Mind 002: the one women’s-labelled football item we read at Nike is a pre-game shoe.
- Men’s boots on women’s pages: Sports Direct’s women’s page shows items such as the Superfly 11 Academy.
- Puma’s unisex boots: these were not on its women’s page, so they do not count.
- Sports Direct at 12: one page’s title says Womens while its address and links say Mens.
Soleplates
The titles we read at 8 to 12 are firm ground, or firm ground and artificial grass. Pro:Direct’s F50 Sparkfusion League is for both, as are Puma’s two women’s boots. Lovell Soccer’s and Sports Direct’s are titled firm ground. Nike’s boots at 8 are firm ground, and the one boot at 13 is soft ground only. We did not record a soleplate for Mizuno’s Monarcida.
Half sizes
Pro:Direct and Lovell Soccer show halves to 11.5 on the F50 Sparkfusion League, and Lovell’s filter has one product at 12.5. Sports Direct’s Purple/Lemon League lists halves to 10.5, then a whole 11. Mizuno’s Monarcida has halves to 10.5, then whole sizes at 11 and 12. Nike’s soft-ground Tiempo Maestro Elite goes from 12 straight to 13 on its size menu, and we did not read half sizes on Nike’s other boots.
Wide feet
We recorded no width option for football boots at any of these shops. Nike has no width filter on its women’s listing, and adidas has none on its women’s shoes listing.
Measure, and use the brand’s chart
Nike’s women’s chart gives foot length in inches only, and the cm figures below are our conversion. adidas’s footwear guide gives heel-to-toe length, and we read it on a training shoe’s page. Neither is a chart for one shop’s boots, so use the one for your boot’s brand. Pro:Direct’s page has a note that the F50 Sparkfusion League runs small, and adidas’s page has one too, as shown in search results, so read those as well. Nike’s chart shares one UK column between its US Women and US Men figures, and we show US Women here.
| UK | Nike EU | Nike US Women | Nike foot length | adidas EU | adidas US Women | adidas foot length |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 | 42.5 | 10.5 | 10 1/2 in (about 26.7 cm) | 42 | 9.5 | 25.9 cm |
| 9 | 44 | 11.5 | 10 13/16 in (about 27.5 cm) | 43 1/3 | 10.5 | 26.7 cm |
| 10 | 45 | 12.5 | 11 3/16 in (about 28.4 cm) | 44 2/3 | 11.5 | 27.6 cm |
| 11 | 46 | 13.5 | 11 1/2 in (about 29.2 cm) | 46 | 12.5 | 28.4 cm |
| 12 | 47.5 | 14.5 | 11 13/16 in (30 cm) | 47 1/3 | 13.5 | 29.3 cm |
Returns differ a lot
Nike’s returns are free within 30 days, with some exclusions. Puma’s are free within 30 days with the sticker in the parcel, but it does not do exchanges. adidas’s are free within 30 days, or 14 for hype products. Lovell Soccer and Sports Direct charge from £4.99, and online orders at Sports Direct cannot go back to a store. Pro:Direct gives a refund only, within 28 days, at your cost. Mizuno’s header gives 14-day returns, and we could not confirm the cost.
Frequently asked questions
What is the largest football boot size on a women's page in the UK?

Which shops list women's-labelled football boots above size 10?
Pro:Direct and Lovell Soccer to 12, and Sports Direct to 11, all with adidas F50 Sparkfusion boots.

Their cards show no gender label, so we describe them as shown under Nike's women's filter.
Does Puma make women's football boots in big sizes?
The two Women boots we opened stop at 8. Puma's unisex versions were not on its women's page, so we do not count them.

Do turf or indoor shoes count?
No. This guide covers studded football boots only.
