UK 12 (EU 47) is the top of Next’s filter, with UGG, Kurt Geiger and Hush Puppies among a few styles. After 8 Shoes has one style at EUR 46, and calling that a UK 12 is our assumption. Cosyfeet has only its unisex Rowan, built for exceptional swelling.

Twelve is as far as we could find a slipper for everyday wear. Above it there is one specialist style and nothing else, so this is the size to buy at rather than one to expect more from. The list looks like 11’s, but it means something different here. For Long Tall Sally the 11-12 band is the top of its range, for Next it is the end of the filter, and for After 8 Shoes EUR 46 is its largest size. All of them are at their limit. Mules are the one shape in Long Tall Sally’s band, and Yours has nothing of its own here.

UK 12 (EU 47) is the top of Next's slipper filter. It showed a few: UGG Grey Elea Slip-On, Kurt Geiger London Kensington Slippers and Hush Puppies The Good Slippers. Crocs Classic Cosy and fleece lined clogs fill out the list, and we do not count them. We did not read how Next labels these, and it refused further reads. Next-day delivery is £4.95, or free to a store, and returns within 28 days are free in store or £2.50 by post.

After 8 Shoes
One style showed at EUR 46, the Dotted Blue, and EUR 46 is the shop's largest slipper size. Reading it as UK 12 is an assumption of ours: we did not find a size table, and the shop has not confirmed this step. Use the sizing on the product page before you order. As shown in search results, tracked delivery is £4.95 for the first pair and £1 for each extra, and free tracked returns within 14 days need the pair unworn and in its original packaging.

Cosyfeet
Cosyfeet's list at 12 is again only the Rowan, in suede and leather, a unisex style. It is built for exceptional swelling or heavy bandaging, so it is not a general slipper. We did not read availability at 12. Standard UK delivery is £5.75 per order. UK returns are free within 90 days for exchange or refund, with some items excluded.

EUR 46, EU 47 or EU 45
The numbers split at this size. Next labels UK 12 as EU 47, with UK 11.5 as EU 46. Long Tall Sally’s chart says EU 45. After 8 Shoes has a EUR 46 with no table behind it, and we assumed that is a UK 12 by continuing the step from its smaller sizes. On Next’s labels, the same EUR 46 would be an 11.5. So this one needs a check before you order.
What shows at 12 and does not count
- Evans and Very: their filters at 12 return the whole slipper list.
- Simply Be and JD Williams: one lined clog boot, the Crocs Classic Lined Shorty at Simply Be, and one product by count at JD Williams.
- ASOS: the one item at UK 12 in its slippers filter was not opened, but 12 to 18 in that filter are clothing sizes.
- Crispins Shoes: Toni Pons slippers are listed, but none was available at 12.
- Crocs at Next: Classic Cosy and fleece lined clogs fill out the filter, and we do not count them as slippers.

Long Tall Sally’s mules at 12 are Standard Fit only, and we recorded no width at Next or After 8 Shoes. Wide fits at Yours and Long Tall Sally ended at 10, and the specialists at 9, so we could not confirm a wide slipper here.

We did not find one. The band at Long Tall Sally is mules only. Simply Be and JD Williams show a Crocs lined clog boot, which is not a slipper.
