Size 8 Football Boots for Women: 7 Shops Compared

Quick answer: UK 8 has the most shops for football boots on a women’s page, seven in all. Pro:Direct, Lovell Soccer and Sports Direct list the adidas F50 Sparkfusion League as a women’s boot, and adidas’s own page has it too, as shown in search results. Puma’s FUTURE 9 PLAY and ULTRA 7 PLAY women’s boots both reach their top size at 8. Nike’s Mercurial and Phantom boots are shown under Nike’s women’s filter, with no gender label on the card, and Mizuno’s Monarcida Neo III Select is labelled Unisex.

Eight is the one size where football boots give you a real choice of brand on a women’s page. adidas and Puma both have boots with women in the title, Nike and Mizuno add boots without it, and seven shops count. It does not hold: the two Puma women’s boots we opened stop here, and the next size loses a shop. Two things are worth knowing before you order. Sports Direct’s women’s football page mixes in men’s and adult boots, so its filter is no guide. And a women’s page does not always mean a women’s boot: some are titled for women, some have no label, and some say Unisex. The table tells you which is which.
We checked these shops on 31 October 2026. Pro:Direct, Lovell Soccer, Nike, Mizuno and Puma were read on their women’s football pages and, where we could, on a product page. At Sports Direct we used a product page rather than its filter. adidas refused our read, so its row is as shown in search results, and Decathlon refused a product page, so nothing there was opened. We count studded boots, not turf or indoor shoes. Delivery and returns terms were read on 30 or 31 October, and Nike’s chart and adidas’s guide on 30 October. We did not check prices, and availability changes daily.

Women’s-labelled means the product title says Women, Womens or Women’s. Pro:Direct’s sizes have no UK label on the page, so we read them as UK because the shop is UK. adidas’s row is as shown in search results, and we did not read what is available there. “Not checked” means we did not record that detail. Delivery and returns are the standard UK terms read on 30 or 31 October 2026.
The shops in more detail
Pro:Direct
Pro:Direct's women's boots at 8 include the adidas F50 Sparkfusion League for firm ground and artificial grass, titled Womens Boots, and 8 showed as available. Its page says the F50 Sparkfusion is designed especially for female players. It also marks the boot Small for Size, based on returns, so read that note. Across the whole filter the brands are adidas, New Balance, Puma and Under Armour, and we opened only the adidas. Returns within 28 days of delivery are for a refund only, with no exchanges, and you pay the postage at discounted carrier rates. Its delivery price is not confirmed.

Lovell Soccer
Lovell Soccer's site is Lovell Sports. The adidas Womens F50 Sparkfusion League firm-ground boot in Purple/Lemon shows 8 as EU 42, and it was available when we read it. The women's filter also holds Puma and Under Armour boots, which we did not open. Standard delivery is £4.99. Returns within 28 days must be unworn in the original box, and cost from £4.99 through ZigZag.

Sports Direct
Sports Direct's women's football page mixes in men's and adult boots, so we went by a product page. The adidas F50 Sparkfusion League Womens firm-ground boot in Purple/Lemon lists 8 and 8.5, and neither is greyed out. Sold-out sizes appear to be left off the list, as two smaller sizes were on one boot. Standard delivery is £4.99. Returns within 28 days cost from £4.99, and online orders cannot go back to a store.

adidas
As shown in search results, adidas lists the F50 Sparkfusion League Low Firm Ground Football Boots Womens from UK 3 to at least 9. adidas refused our read, so we could not see what is available at 8, and those results say the boot runs small, so read its note. Delivery is £3.99, free for adiClub members and over £40. Returns are free within 30 days, or 14 days for hype products.

Puma
Puma's FUTURE 9 PLAY and ULTRA 7 PLAY boots, for firm ground and artificial grass, are titled Football Boots Women. Both pages list 8 as their top size, not marked sold out. Puma's unisex versions were not on its women's page, so they do not count here. Delivery is £3.99, free over £50. Returns are free within 30 days with the sticker in the parcel, and Puma does not do exchanges.

Nike
Shown under Nike's women's filter at 8, with no gender label on the card, are the Mercurial Superfly 11 Elite, Mercurial Vapor 17 Elite and Phantom 6 Low Elite, all firm-ground boots. The one women's-labelled football item we read is the Mind 002, a pre-game shoe rather than a boot, so it is not here. Delivery is £4.50, free over £99 (£50 for members), with free store pick-up. Returns are free within 30 days, though some exclusions apply.

Mizuno
Mizuno's women's football page lists the Monarcida Neo III Select, labelled Unisex, like every adult boot we read there. The white colour could be picked at 8 on the UK tab. We read no women's-labelled boot at Mizuno. Its page header offers free shipping over £80 and 14-day returns. We did not read the charge below £80, and the return cost is not confirmed.

Three kinds of label at 8
The label matters more here than at any other size, because you can still choose. The adidas and Puma boots are titled for women. Pro:Direct’s page says the F50 Sparkfusion is designed especially for female players. Nike’s Mercurial and Phantom boots sit on a page titled Women’s Football Boots & Shoes, but their cards show no gender label. Mizuno’s says Unisex. An item labelled men’s never counts on this page.
The Puma women’s boots we opened end here
Both Puma boots titled Women that we opened stop at 8. Puma’s women’s filter runs on to 9, but choosing 9 did not narrow the list, so that is no proof of a 9. If you want a Puma boot on a women’s page, this is the size we can confirm. Our size 9 football boots guide explains why Puma is not counted there.
Half sizes around 8
Half sizes are normal at this end of the range. Sports Direct’s League lists 8.5, Pro:Direct’s and Lovell’s show halves to 11.5, and Mizuno’s Monarcida has them to 10.5. We did not read half sizes on Nike’s boots at 8.
Not counted at 8
Decathlon’s women’s football boots filter shows a UK 8, and its own Kipsta Viralto boots are titled Women’s or Men’s/Women’s, with Puma and adidas items from outside sellers. The shop refused a product page, so nothing was opened, and it is not in the table.
How to measure your feet for size 8 football boots
Nike’s women’s chart gives 10 1/2 inches for a UK 8, about 26.7 cm by our conversion, in inches only. adidas’s footwear guide, which we read on a training shoe’s page, gives 25.9 cm heel to toe. These are each brand’s own figures, so use the one for the boot you choose.
- Stand on paper with your heel to the wall, on both feet.
- Mark and measure to your longest toe.
- Compare the longer foot with the chart for that boot’s brand.
Widths at size 8
We recorded no width option for football boots at any of these seven shops at 8. Nike has no width filter on its women’s listing, and adidas has none on its women’s shoes listing.
UK 8 in EU and US sizes
| Source | EU | US | Foot length |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nike’s women’s chart | 42.5 | Women 10.5 | 10 1/2 in |
| adidas’s footwear guide | 42 | Women 9.5 | 25.9 cm |
| Lovell Soccer, F50 label | 42 | Not given | Not given |
Lovell’s label on the adidas boot matches adidas’s guide. We did not read EU labels on Puma’s or Mizuno’s boots.
Our picks for size 8
We pick from the facts in the table, not from prices or reviews, which we have not checked.
- For a boot titled for women, with a clear EU label: the F50 Sparkfusion League at Lovell Soccer, at EU 42. Returns within 28 days cost from £4.99.
- For free returns on a women’s-titled boot: Puma’s FUTURE 9 PLAY or ULTRA 7 PLAY, free within 30 days with the sticker in the parcel, with no exchanges.
- For Nike: the Mercurial or Phantom boots, with no gender label on the card. Returns are free within 30 days, though some exclusions apply.

Frequently asked questions
Which shops list football boots on a women's page in size 8?
Seven count: Pro:Direct, Lovell Soccer, Sports Direct, adidas, Puma, Nike and Mizuno. adidas's row is as shown in search results.
Are Nike's football boots at size 8 women's boots?
They are shown under Nike's women's filter, with no gender label on the card, so we do not count them as women's-labelled.
Does Puma list women's football boots above 8?
The two Women boots we opened stop at 8. Its filter shows a 9, but it did not narrow the list, so we could not confirm one.
Is Mizuno's boot a women's boot?
It sits on Mizuno's women's football page, but it is labelled Unisex, like every adult boot we read there.
Why is Sports Direct's filter not used?
Its women's football page mixes in men's and adult boots, so we read sizes from a product page instead.
Shops were checked on their own websites on 31 October 2026. adidas’s details are as shown in search results. Delivery and returns terms were read on 30 or 31 October 2026, and Nike’s chart and adidas’s guide on 30 October. We did not check Amazon UK’s listings.
