Simply Be and JD Williams have no item left under their Flip Flop filters, only under Toe Post, and Very’s filter holds one thong wedge plus a Mary Jane shoe that should not be there. Several ranges end at this size, including FitFlop’s Lulu, Marks and Spencer’s Flip Flops category and Office’s filter. For a true flip-flop, start with Next, Marks and Spencer or Crocs. For a wide foot, the toe posts are the place to look, because we could not tie a wide fit to any true flip-flop here.

The women's Slim and the unisex Top both list 41/42, which one list charts as UK 8.5/9, as shown in search results. Another list puts 41/42 at about 7.5/8 and 43/44 at about 9/10, so read the shop's chart before choosing. Every size of the black Slim showed as available. Its site banner offers free delivery over £50, and we did not read the charge below that. Returns within 30 days must be unworn and unwashed with tags, and £4.90 is deducted for a drop-off return or £7.00 for a home pickup.

Pavers’ navy Skechers toe post does not offer a 9, and we did not open its aqua or black. Joules’ filter stops at 8, as shown in search results, and Clarks’ Sliders and Flip Flops page has no results at 9.
Half sizes around 9
Birkenstock’s 9.5 is the one half size we can name here, as a label on its thong sandals filter. Havaianas charts 41/42 as UK 8.5/9 on one list, so its doubled size takes in the half size below. Crocs lists whole sizes only, and we did not read 8.5 or 9.5 at the other shops.
Wide fits and slides at 9
Every wide fit we found at 9 is a toe post. Simply Be and JD Williams list Wide (E) and Extra Wide (EEE), Next has the Vionic Eva, and Very its thong wedge. Yours’ chart gives a joint of 258 mm for E and 270 mm for EEE at UK 9, and Marks and Spencer’s gives 262 mm for Standard (D) and 272 mm for Wide Fit (E). Slides are a separate matter. Simply Be’s Slider filter holds them at 9 and Next’s flip-flop filter shows adidas Adilette Lumia Sliders, but neither counts here.
